DDO Guilds Thelanis Guilds Power Rankings Week 3

Week 3 in the Power Ratings finds an Old familiar name at the top, Legion.  This week also sees a couple of new additions and a few guilds who dropped out.  To qualify for Power Ratings a guild must be in the top 75 guilds measured by guild reknown.  New to the Top 75 this week are Fallen Immortals, Odin's Chosen, Stronghold, & Two Dwarfs One Cup.

DDO Guilds Thelanis Weekly Guild XP Leaders

In an effort to show the new metrics being used, here is the list of raw data for XP gained and members gained/loss since last ranking. Some highlights:

-Monty Python absolutely crushed second place Storm Lords and the rest of the top 5, outproducing them by 30% to 50%.

-13 guilds were capable of producing 200k guild xp since last rating.

-How tightly match 2nd through 5th place guilds would seem to be all producing 400-440k xp.

-Some guilds purged while others were clearly recruiting. Assuming the purgers are done, next weeks rankings should contain another shakeup or two.

DDO Guilds Power Rankings: Thelanis Guilds Wk 2

Week 2 in the Power Rankings sees a major shakeup.  The new week 2 rankings take into account change in XP gained week to week, as well as membership gain or loss.  In an attempt to mitigate purging simply for ranking sake, gain in membership will be rewarded while loss in membership will be punished.  This should also help indentify and recognize guilds that are growing in membership.

Monty Python's Flying Circus takes over top spot after a strong week.  Monty Python showed scored the most favor this week and added the most new members, a feat that will probably be a rare double.  We also see traditional powers such as C.L.A.W., Legion, Bane et al all beginning to position themselves in the battle for guild supremacy.  The little train the could, aLiclan #1 last week, slips out of the top 10.  Its 63 members is now having difficulty trading punches with the big boys, but their small band continues to hang in there.

Guilds that purged this week such as Alpha, Legion, The Militia, will take a penalty this week but should find themselves in better order for future rankings.
